Trump’s False Claim That ‘Nobody Has Ever Done’ More for the Black Community Than He Has (Paywall)

The records of Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Lyndon B. Johnson, among others, beg to differ.

DREAMLAND (June 7) —

What haven't I done for “Afroed-Americans”?

No president's ever done more!

And if you are thinkin', “Abraham Lincoln?”

Remember, he started a war.

Which is something I'd never do.

I am always for peace.

Whether it's property or cake (or ass),

or earning my spurs by dodging the draft,

my quest for piece is without cease.

But, I was speaking of my Afro friends

(those people from shithole countries)

for whom I have always done so very much.

There is Ben Carson, for one thing.

And Omar Rosa who I invented,

and to whom I gave clout.

Though she was clever

she was ungrateful, and

it made me SAD

when she didn't work out.

I encouraged Afro home ownership

by refusing to rent them apartments.

I love 'em all, unless they're from Kenya

or try to leave their assigned compartments.

So many love me,

too many to mention —

not, of course, those

bound for detention,

who, in fact, are Democrat

and should not vote.
