up in their trees eating fruit,
eating leaves.
They live alone
not in quarrelsome groups
like their boisterous cousins,
the chimpanzees.
Next to the chimps
orangs look like wimps,
being vegan and solitary.
They don't go monkey hunting,
do less hooting and grunting,
living lives peaceful and largely arboreal.
(Except, of course, in the breeding season
when they tend to descend for the usual reason.)
